Facebook

The first non-founder to join Facebook was Arie Hasit, who is now in Israel studying to be a Rabbi.

Twitter

The first tweet was written by co-founder Jack Dorsey on March 21, 2006. 'Just setting up my twttr' was the first thing that Jack wrote. It was retweeted by 31 people.

YouTube

The first YouTube video was uploaded on April 23, 2005 by co-founders Jawed Karim at the San Diego Zoo. This video has been watched nearly 10 million time.

Instagram

It was July 16, 2010 when Instagram CEO and co-founder Kevin Systrom uploaded the first photo on this app. The picture is of a golden retriever and foot belongs to Systrom's girlfriend, according to a spokesperson for Instagram.

Skype

It was 'Tere, kas sa kuuled mind?' or "Hello, can you hear me?" in English that was first ever sentence spoke on Skype by the development team in April 2003.

World Wide Web

The first picture ever uploaded on the web was posted by Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web on behalf of a comedy band called Les Horrible Cernettes.

First Website

The first website was dedicated to information about the World Wide Web and went live on August 6, 1991.
