New Delhi: Low-cost airline SpiceJet on Tuesday launched a three-day discount sale of tickets starting Rs 1,010, including all charges, to mark the 10th anniversary of its operations.

The offer will be open till midnight May 21, 2015. The offer is applicable for travel between July 1, 2015 and October 15, 2015.

“The offer is available for all domestic flights on SpiceJet's direct, via (same flight number hopping flight), and connecting flights network. International are not included in this offer,” the airline said.

The offer covers all domestic flights on direct, via (same flight number hopping flight), and connecting flights network. It is not applicable on bookings made for groups and infants.

The bookings made under this offer are non-refundable, the airline's website said.

The airline received Rs 400 crore in infusion and is in the process of expanding after a difficult patch that saw grounding of its fleet, cutting down on its schedule and cancellation of hundreds of flights.

Spicejet went through an ownership change in January with founder-promoter Ajay Singh stepping in as the chairman.

SpiceJet was founded by Ajay Singh in 2004 but the airline started its operations in 2005. The bookings were opened on May 18 2005 and its first flight, from Delhi to Mumbai, flew on May 24.
