New Delhi: Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) is organizing the 4th edition of MERAKI (national level B-plan competition for under-graduate and post-graduate students) on January 30 and 31, 2015.
FIIB says Meraki BPC offers a good chance to the young and passionate to become entrepreneurs. As part of MERAKI, top venture capitalists of the country hear and evaluate the B-Plan pitch of students.
Over 293 teams - representing top institutes like IIT Kharagpur, Department of Management Studies - IIT Delhi, IIM Bangalore, IIM Indore, IIFT, NITIE, BITS Pilani, IMT Ghaziabad, St. Stephen's College, SRCC – have participated in the event from 2012 to 2014.
This year, the competition offers fellowships of Rs. 1,50,000 ($2,500) as 1st prize; 1,00,000 ($1,600) as 2nd prize and 50,000 ($800) as 3rd prize. It also promises to provide on-going mentorship and contact with leading venture capitalists and investors.
