New Delhi: If you think becoming rich is about inheritance and pure luck, think again. There are indeed certain habits and daily activities that separate the wealthy from the poor. And the separation is as wide as Grand Canyon.
Financial planner Tom Corley spent five years observing more than 350 “rich” and “poor” people, how they live, work and even sleep and captured them all in his book, "Rich Habits: The Daily Success Habits of Wealthy Individuals."
In his view, our daily habits dictate whether or not we'll accumulate wealth and be happy in life or if we will be poor and unhappy in life. According to him, the most striking thing he discovered that poor people are more likely to be obese than wealthy people. He says wealthy people are more disclined about their health. “They exercised more, usually aerobically, and they were more careful about what they ate, particularly where junk food was concerned. Most of the wealthy avoided junk food I found,” Corley said.
