Rahul Gandhi convicted in the 2019 Modi surname defamation case

In the Modi Surname Defamation Case, the Surat Sessions Court convicted Rahul Gandhi and sentenced him to 2 years imprisonment. The court has also suspended the sentence for 30 days so that he can file an application against it in the higher court. See in this report.
