JNU teachers, students continue protest against campus attack

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) teachers and students continued their protest outside varsity, against violence that occurred in premise in the evening of January 05. Over 30 people including professors and students sustained injuries after masked goons attacked people inside JNU. Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) president Aishe Ghosh alleged that professors and students affiliated with RSS and ABVP are behind the violence. On the other hand, Hindu Raksha Dal leader Pinki Choudhary has taken the responsibility of the assault on teachers and students in JNU. Government official sources have said that the claims are being investigated.
