Hanuman Mandir is an ancient temple. It is believed to be one of the five temples established by the Pandavas in Delhi. In 1724, Maharaja Jai Singh of the then princely state of Jaipur got it renovated again. It is said that when Goswami Tulsidas came to Delhi in the 16th century, he also visited this temple.
