Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that people will make the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) crave for 140 seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. The former CM made this statement after an election rally in Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh.
"The voting that has started against BJP will continue till the end when Purvanchal elections are held and by the time the seventh phase is over, BJP will be wiped out... the public will make them crave for 140 seats... the construction of airport, Purvanchal Expressway etc. is the work of Samajwadi party...," Akhilesh Yadav said.
Meanwhile, speaking on ongoing elections and BJP's '400-paar' slogan, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav said, " ...PM Modi has nothing left to say because he knows that INDIA alliance has crossed 300 (seats) and will form the government. Forget about getting 400 it is difficult for them to even get 240."
