AIIMS Director, Dr Randeep Guleria on Thursday said that there is possibility of COVID-19 vaccination anytime soon in the country. Speaking to news agency ANI, Dr. Guleria said that he is hopeful that by the end of December, or early next month, emergency use authorization from Indian regulatory authorities with be given to a vaccine, which can then be used to vaccinate the general public.
The AIIMS director said a Covid-19 vaccine may get approval in the first two-three months of 2021 but manufacturing it on a large scale will take some more time.
