Noida Metro Aqua Line will be inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on January 25. Union housing and urban affairs minister Hardeep Singh Puri will also accompany the chief minister at the inauguration.
The Aqua Line, whose construction began in May 2015 and was completed in record time, was initially expected to be opened for public in November 2018.
The Aqua Line would run between Sector 71 station in Noida and the Depot Station in Greater Noida, covering 29.7 km through 21 stations.

The 29.8km Metro link, which will connect the two residential hubs, will have 21 stations.
The project is scheduled to be completed by April next year at total cost of Rs 5,503 crore.
