Narayan Gowda of Bharatiya Janata Party emerged victories in the Krishnarajapete constituency by 9731 votes against JDS candidate B. L. DEVARAJ. Also, on the fray was B C Manju of JD(S).
According to election officials, Congress' Sowmya Reddy secured 54,457 votes against her nearest rival from the BJP, B N Prahlad, who managed 51,568 votes.
