The 12th-century shrine was opened for the public on February 21, after remaining closed for almost 21 days due to a spike in COVID cases during the third wave in January.
Other Covid-19 restrictions like use of sanitiser and masks will remain mandatory for the devotees.

The temple will remain closed till January 31, as per the decision taken at the meeting of Chhatisa Nijog -- the apex body of the temple's servitors.
