Samsung is all set to launch its new flagship series smartphone tonight at the Samsung Unpacked 2019 event in San Francisco, the US. The company will be launching new products at the event and the main highlights of the event would be Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 plus, Galaxy S10e along with the Galaxy Fold.
Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+
The Samsung Galaxy S series has been making rounds for some time now, with leaks and rumours around the phones. Reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will come with similar specifications other than the display and the front cameras.
Both the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are expected to come powered by Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC depending on the regions. The Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with a 6.4-inch curved display, while the Galaxy S10+ will come with a 6.7-inch curved display. Both phones come with a triple rear camera setup. The Galaxy S10+ will come with 12GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S10 will get a single in-display front camera and the Galaxy S10+ will get a dual in-display front camera setup.
For pricing, the Galaxy S10+ with 128GB storage and 512GB storage is expected to be priced at £899 (Rs 81,592 approx.), and £1099 (Rs 99,793 approx.), while the 1TB Samsung Galaxy S10+ could come at £1399 (Rs1,27,005 approx.).
Samsung Galaxy S10e
The Samsung Galaxy S10e is said to come with a 5.8-inch flat display. This phone is said to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that will be placed on the right-hand side of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S10e is likely to come with 6GB RAM along with 128GB storage and is likely to come in colour options of Green, Black, White, Yellow and Blue. The Galaxy S10e is rumoured to be priced at €750 (Rs 61,400) in Europe.
Samsung Galaxy foldable phone
The company had teased the foldable phone during the annual developer conference in November. The Galaxy foldable phone that was showcased came with a 7.3-inch (1536 x 2152 pixels) display when unfolded and had a 4.6-inch (840 x 1960) 21:9 aspect ratio display on the outside. Reports suggest that the foldable phone could come with a Sony IMX374 sensor camera.
Samsung will be hosting the event in San Francisco on 20th February that can be witnessed in India on 21st February 12:30 am IST.
