Team India star batsman Virender Sehwag is slightly injured but would be fit for the 2nd ODI to be held in Nagpur on Dec 18.
Sehwag injured himself while fielding during the first one-day international against Sri Lanka in Rajkot but the Indian opener himself said he would be fit to play in the second ODI in Nagpur.
Sehwag, who hit a blistering 102-ball 146 in India's three-run victory, disclosed that he hurt his knee while fielding but said he would be fit in time for the second match on December 18.
"I banged my knee on the ground. There's some swelling but the physio Nitin Patel is doing a great job and I should be fit for the Nagpur match," Sehwag said at the post-match press conference. PTI
