New Delhi: Indian all-rounder and Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina and his wife Priyanka have been blessed with a baby girl. The couple – Suresh and Priyanka -- have named their daughter Gracia Raina.

The left-handed batsman and an occasional off-spin bowler is currently in Netherlands to be with his spouse and other family members.

According to a post on Twitter, Raina has named his daughter Gracia Raina.

Raina, who missed Gujarat’s last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, is also likely to miss Thursday’s clash against Kolkata Knight Riders in Kanpur. This is the first time that Raina has missed a match since the inception of the IPL, but is definitely worth it.

Gauging from his post on Twitter, people could guess how eager he was to meet his daughter.

Raina is on the peak of his IPL career and also on the verge of breaching a significant IPL milestone. The batsman is only 15 runs short of becoming the first person to complete 4,000 runs in IPL.

For the past eight years, Raina has played all his matches for his erstwhile team Chennai Super Kings, until CSK was banned for two seasons. He was subsequently chosen to lead the debutant Gujarat Lions in the ninth season of the IPL.

So far he has scored 3699 runs for Chennai and 286 runs for the Lions, which included an unbeaten 75.
