New Delhi, Aug 6: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley today questioned Defence Minister A K Antony's statement saying persons "dressed in Pak army uniforms" crossed the Line of Control and killed 5 Indian army jawans.
"Why are you giving a clean chit, an alibi to the Pakistan army?", asked Jaitley, while seeking clarifications after the minister's statement.
Samajwadi Party leader Ramgopal Yadav and CPI(M) member Sitaram Yechury also questioned the use of the phrase "dressed in Pak army uniforms".
Yechury said, the minister's statement does not inspire any confidence among the people. By saying that they are terrorists dressed in Pak army uniforms, you are reaching a very wrong conclusion without any proper investigation, Yechury pointed out.
