TMC MP Kunal Ghosh suspended from party

TMC sources said that the decision to suspend Ghosh was taken to stem revolt against the party.



Ghosh, who once had close rapport with the Trinamool Congress supremo and was nominated by her to contest the election to Rajya Sabha in March 2012, was the CEO of one of the media companies of the tainted Saradha Group.

Ghosh has said he has kept a video recording of his statements about the Saradha chit fund scam in the custody of a friend in Delhi.
