New Delhi, Jan 22: Yoga guru Swami Ramdev said today that he has forgiven the man who threw ink at him last year - Kamruddin Siddiqui, after he apologized for his behaviour.
Ramdev, who had come to a local court to appear as witness in the case, said, Siddiqui apologized for his behaviour in court and said he was ready to tender apology both verbally and in writing.
"I have forgiven him for his mistake, because my values teach me that a sage should always be forgiving", said Ramdev.
Ramdev lashed out at Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde for his saffron terror remark, saying it was unconstitutional.
"It's strange that this government looks at nationalists as terrorists, and vice versa. Our Home Minister should know that saffron is the colour of our national flag, and what he is saying is an insult to our flag and the nation."
Asked about Rajiv Gandhi's remark that power was poison, Ramdev smiled and said, " if that is so, then they can easily become Lord Shiva who drank poison."
