Mumbai: Shiv Sena today slammed Uttar Pradesh cabinet Minister Azam Khan calling him more dangerous than India's most wanted man Dawood Ibrahim.

The scathing attack came after the SP leader advised BJP to construct the Babri masjid in Ayodhya if it wants to return to power again on the occasion of 23rd anniversary of Babri masjid demolition.

The right wing party in its mouth piece ‘Saamna' again criticised Azam Khan's move to seek United Nations intervention to look into the "miseries" of minorities in India.

The editorial also slammed Khan for his remark on last month's Paris attack that it could be a “reaction to the killing of innocents in Arab countries by the superpowers”

In a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Khan in the month of October had attacked RSS accusing it of working to turn secular and pluralistic India into a majoritarian theocratic nation as 'Hindu Rashtra'.

The SP leader on Sunday sparked a controversy by saying that Taj Mahal should be demolished and Shiva Temple be constructed on it.

According to a report published in News18, Azam Khan, apparently taking a dig at Shiv Sena, said that if Shiv Sena demolishes Taj Mahal to build Shiva Temple on it, then he also will offer help by shoveling.

The controversial remarks by Khan came on the 23rd anniversary of Babri Masjid's demolition.
