Noting that he, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy were going to the people seeking mandate, he claimed the other two wanted to become the Chief Minister while he sacrificed his post for Telugu unity.
“We don't accept this division.
Let's see what happens in the Supreme Court (on petitions against the division). You give me 25 MPs, we will see how the state would not remain united,” Reddy said.
The Congress MPs who were expelled for moving a no-confidence motion against the UPA government and some Congress MLAs who have since quit the party are office-bearers of the new party.
