We have an alliance in Bengal... an alliance with the people,” Banerjee said.
Asked if she is afraid of BJP cutting into the TMC vote bank in a number of seats in West Bengal this time, she said, “They are ‘na ghar ka, na ghat ka'.
Only during election season, they come to Bengal to create division between people. They will not get even one seat from Bengal.”
She dismissed the notion that her party's fighting alone without a tie-up with Congress in the Lok Sabha election will help the Left, she said, “People have rejected them. In several elections after 2011, we fought alone and won.
“Be it panchayat polls, by-elections or municipal polls, people have blessed us. We are fighting alone, but we have Ma, Mati, Manush by our side,” she said.
