Jamshedpur, Oct 2: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM), which has announced withdrawal of support from the Manmohan Singh-led UPA II, did not see anything wrong in Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi demanding that the government should make public the expenditure incurred on the treatment of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi abroad recently.

Addressing a joint press conference here today, JVM MP Dr. Ajay Kumar, flanked by the party Secretary Abhay Singh, appreciated the Right To Information Act (RTI) and said the Centre should disclose the expenses incurred on the AICC President's treatment abroad recently.

“I do not know what Modi exactly demanded but the government should make public the expenses incurred on the treatment,” Kumar, Member of Parliament from Jamshedpur seat said.

Describing the RTI as tool for the common man, JVM MP said it facilitated people to secure requisite information.

A party with two MPs, JVM has pulled out of the UPA II over the increase in the prices of diesel, FDI in retail and cap on distribution of LPG ;cylinder per annum.

Besides Kumar, JVM supremo-cum-former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi was the other party MP from state.
