The Gujarat Chief Minister heaped praise on his Chhattisgarh counterpart, saying the state has developed in leaps and bounds since BJP came to power 10 years back.
He said that while Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has been saying UPA brought the food security legislation, Chhattisgarh already had been implementing such a scheme.
He also mocked at the Congress.
"Congress gives the slogan of 'Congress ka haath garib ke sath' (Hand of Congress is with poor), but when it comes to power it indulges in sleight of hand. This hand has not left even coal untouched," Modi said.
