Jharkhand is not an ordinary state. People from this state flock to other places in search of livelihood. Constituencies of Jharkhand which will go to polls in third phase on December 9 are – Kodarma, Barkatha, Barhi, Barkagaon, Ramgarh, Mandu, Hazaribagh, Simaria (SC), Dhanwar, Gomia, Bermo, Ichagarh, Silli, Khijri (ST), Ranchi, Hatia, Kanke (SC).
The Prime Minister will address an election rally in Dhanbad on December 9.
The first phase of the five-phase polls for 13 seats on November 25 had witnessed a record 61.92 per cent polling whereas the second phase in 20 constituencies across seven Maoist-hit districts too recorded a higher voting percentage of 65.72 percent on December 2.
The remaining fourth and fifth phase polling will take place on December 14 and 20. Counting of votes will be done December 23.
