Modi said, Indian fishermen in Gujarat are rounded up by Pakistani soldiers, while in Tamil Nadu they are rounded up by Sri Lankan soldiers. "If we want to solve fishermen problems, we must first remove the incompetent government at the Centre, because our neighbours think India can't do anything."
"Pradhan Mantriji, what is your priority? Self-pride or talks with neighbours? All countries in the world, whether Brazil (NSA snooping) or US (Edward Snowden) take action when their self-pride is attacked", said Modi.
Praising the Tamils, Modi described them as "hardworking, royal and loyal".
"For Tamils, work is worship. It was a Tamil who created the e-mail, Tamils are in the think tanks of top software companies. Tamils went to faraway Gujarat to develop its textile industry", said Modi.
Without referring to AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha by name, Modi said "This big crowd here should be a message to those who understand Tamil Nadu politics. For them, this is a clear indication that change is necessary."
"While you have a mini-Gujarat Sahukar Pet here, we have a mini-Tamil Nadu in Maninagar, my seat", said Modi.
