New Delhi: In the first expansion of Narendra Modi cabinet, 21 new ministers were inducted into the union council of ministers.The new ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Pranab Mukherjee

New Delhi: In the first expansion of Narendra Modi cabinet, 21 new ministers were inducted into the union council of ministers.

The new ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Pranab Mukherjee at an impressive ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Among the new 21 ministers, 4 are of cabinet rank, 3 are of MoS(independent charge) and the rest 14 are of MoS rank.

The new cabinet ministers are Manohar Parrikar, Suresh Prabhu, J P Nadda and Chaudhary Birendra Singh.

The MoS (independent charge) are Bandaru Dattatreya, Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Dr. Mahesh Sharma.

The new MoS are MA Naqvi, Ram Kripal Yadav, Hari Bhai Chaudhary, Prof. Sanwarlal Jat, Mohan Bhai Kundaria, Giriraj Singh, Hans Raj Ahir, Ram Shankar Katheria, Y S Chowdhury, Jayant Sinha, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Babul Supriyo, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Vijay Sampla
