Jammu , Oct 29 : Jammu and Kashmir unit of BJP today slammed the Congress-led UPA government for not filing cases against hardline Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and writer Arundhati Roy for "instigating seccessionism".It accused the government of being "soft" to separatists and anti-national elements.

"It is a matter of concern for every nationalist in the country to ponder on why the Central government did not take a decision to file cases against Geelani and Roy for making inflammatory and provocative speeches during a seminar in New Delhi recently," state BJP President Shamsher Singh Manhas said in a statement here.

The BJP leader said that such an approach by the Centre towards those "instigating seccessionism" should leave no one in any doubt that the government is not resolute and determined to ensure integrity of the country.PTI
