Ranchi: Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah today said the taint of corruption would not touch the BJP-led NDA government in Jharkhand.

Addressing the ‘Karyakarta Samagam' organised by the party's state unit here, Shah said that the Raghubar Das government has got an absolute majority in the elections and not a single issue of corruption would touch it during its five-year rule.

Praising the state government on its 100 days of governance, Shah said Jharkhand had initiated several developmental projects, started set up of three hospitals, and rolled out 108 ambulances.

Stating that the BJP has been voted majority governments both at the Centre and in the state, Shah reminded the gathering of prime minister Narendra Modi's election speeches in which he had stressed upon bringing development to the eastern states at par with the western states and said that the commitment would be met.

The money got through coal auction would benefit Jharkhand and other eastern states, which would put them on the track of development, Shah added.
