New Delhi, June 27: Jailed INLD leader Ajay Chautala was admitted to a government hospital here after he complained of tiredness and uneasiness in prison, said a jail officer.
"Chautala was admitted to Deen Dayal Updhaya's ICCU unit Wednesday afternoon. His blood pressure was high," Tihar Jail law officer Sunil Gupta told IANS.
Chautala, 52, is serving 10-year jail term in Tihar Jail Number 2 for his involvement in a teachers' recruitment scam.
Former Haryana chief minister and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) chief Om Prakash Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala were convicted and jailed January this year by a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special court in Delhi in the recruitment scam.
Om Prakash Chautala was granted interim bail for six weeks by Delhi High Court for treatment a month ago.
