In terms of vote percentage, the data is very interesting. Although the BJP seems to be losing 10 seats, it has managed to retain its vote share.
The BJP's vote share stands at 44 per cent and that is what the party had got in 2007.
On the other hand, the Congress party has improved both its seat tally as well as its vote percentage.
The Congress is expected to get 44 per cent of popular votes, a net gain of 5 per cent.
