Out of a total of 63 seats in the region, BJP is expected to get 39 seats. Congress is supposed to get 23 seats while others will get 1 seat.
Like South Gujarat, BJP looks all set to pocket major gains in the region while Congress is supposed to suffer major losses.
The opinion poll predicts a gain of 7 seats for the BJP and a loss of 6 seats for the Congress. Others are also expected to lose 1 seat.
In terms of vote percentage, BJP is expected to get 49 percent of votes, Congress 38 percent while others will get 13 percent.
