Panaji (Goa): Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar today rejected the charge levelled by embattled Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal that the BJP government is engaged in political witchhunt against him.
Addressing a press conference, Parrikar said, "I don't have the habit to interfere in investigation. I don't get hourly reports. I do not have a role in investigation.
"I did not lodge the complaint. It's the woman journalist who sent the mail.So, when Tejpal filed an anticipatory bail plea, naturally he will offer some excuse", the chief minister said.
