New Delhi, Nov 26: Rajya Sabha today witnessed a scuffle after a DMK member displayed a placard against AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa which infuriated her party members.
Trouble broke out when K P Ramalingam (DMK) displayed the placard which read "Arrest Jaya for stolen land in Kodanadu estate".
Members belonging to arch rival AIADMK A Elavarasan and N Balaganga rushed towards Ramalingam to snatch the paper, leading to a scuffle.
NCP and Congress members,including Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V Narayanasamy, intervened to separate them.
Tamil Nadu government has approached the Supreme Court to acquire land of Kodanadu Estate belonging to former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in Nilgiris district. PTI
