New Delhi: A court here Saturday issued warrant against AAP leader Shazia Ilmi in a defamation case filed against the party members by Amit Sibal, son of former union minister Kapil Sibal.
Metropolitan Magistrate Sunil Kumar Sharma refused to accept Ilmi's application for exemption from personal appearance in the court due to some reason.
The court issued the bailable warrant against Ilmi and asked her to pay Rs.5,000.
Ilmi is likely quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Saturday.
The court exempted another AAP leader Manish Sisodia from personally appearing in the court due to his father' death.
