“BJP president Rajnath Singh, who is an MP from Ghaziabad, has not worked for Muslims area. I appeal to minority community to reject BJP in this Lok Sabha elections,” another Congress leader said.
On other hand, Congress leaders abstained from taking the name of Aam Aadmi Party during the four-hour rally despite the party claiming to have a huge support in the region.
“Our fight is not against the Aam Aadmi Party.
Our fight is against BJP,” a Congress leader told reporters. Congress' Raj Babbar will take on AAP's Shazia Ilmi and BJP's V K Singh in the race for Ghaziabad Lok Sabha seat.
