Patna: Opposition BJP today said it would play audio tapes of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's barbs on RJD President Lalu Prasad during campaign for Bihar polls as tit-for-tat to Kumar's use of tapes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on ‘black money' in his campaigns.

“BJP will play cassettes of Nitish Kumar's barbs on Lalu Prasad during NDA rule to remind people of the hostile relations between them,” senior party leader Sushil Kumar Modi told reporters here.

“We will remind people of everything to unravel the truth of their coming together for the Bihar poll,” he said at a feast hosted by him on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

This would be a riposte to Nitish Kumar playing tapes of Narendra Modi's speech on black money, bonus to farmers and special category status promise to Bihar during his “Sampark Yatra” and other campaigns.

Sushil Modi, who served as deputy to Kumar during the NDA rule in Bihar, said “Narendra Modi will reply to Kumar's quires when next Parliamentary poll comes. In Bihar poll, we will fire questions to him as why he betrayed the trust of people on NDA and leading the state to lawlessness.”

Kumar has already apprehended that such cassettes are coming against him. During a protest rally of parties of old Janata Parivar in Delhi on December 22, he spoke about BJP playing these cassettes to question his relationship with Lalu Prasad in the presence of RJD President.

“The Bihar poll will be fought on state issues and not on agenda of central government like promise on return of black money and bonus to farmers,” Sushil Modi, who is leader of opposition in the Legislative Council, said.
