New Delhi: The bail plea of BSP MP Dhananjay Singh was today rejected by a Delhi court.
The BSP MP was accused of destroying evidence to shield his wife who was arrested for torturing her maid. The maid had died of her injuries.
Additional Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma rejected the bail application of the BSP leader.
Delhi Police Thursday opposed grant of bail to Dhananjay Singh, saying he had incited his spouse to beat up and ill-treat domestic servants.
