New Delhi: A section of Delhi BJP leaders is reportedly unhappy with party President Amit Shah for not being accessible to them during campaign for Assembly elections.

These leaders believe that Amit Shah failed completely to fix the problems within Delhi unit of the party and as a result the saffron party couldn't even manage to secure the Leader of Opposition (LoP) post in the Delhi Assembly.

In mid-December, Shah had personally taken charge of party's campaign in Delhi. Now, questions are being raised as to  what really went wrong and why the party's top leadership failed in connecting with the voters.

Several party leaders have claimed that Shah was not accessible to them during the campaign. They have also pointed out  that in several meetings, the party president only gave orders and expected full compliance and delivery.

According to a Delhi BJP leader, Shah asked the leaders to enumerate the differences they had among each other.

"Shah, who was in charge of Uttar Pradesh during the Lok Sabha polls, repeatedly gave the example that how he had received a list of 3,000 such cases... but here most of the leaders failed to share their grievances with him," a disgruntled BJP leader Economic Times.

Shah had led BJP to victories in Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand and a commendable performance in Jammu and Kashmir.

Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party yesterday decimated BJP and Congress in Delhi Assembly polls  by securing 67 of the 70 seats.  The BJP managed to bag only 3 seats while the Congress could not even open its account.
