New Delhi: Ecstatic over spectacular debut in Delhi elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today termed the Delhi poll verdict historic.
AAP has emerged as the second largest party in Delhi assembly with the part leading in 28 constituencies till last report came in.
The party expressed satisfaction over the fact that the barely one year old political party has achieved this amazing feat in the face of the collective might of the two big parties Congress and BJP.
Kejriwal led party also came down heavily on media for supporting slander campaign launched by vested interests against the party.
The party credited its volunteers for the great showing of the party in the election.
The party once again reiterated that AAP will neither seek nor offer support to any part of the corrupt political establishment of the country.
Expressing its commitment to challenge the political establishment throughout the country, the party said that its next mission would be to offer a genuine political alternative in the Lok Sabha elections 2014.
