5. Former Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangakkara is equalled to Sachin Tendulkar in the list of players with the most test centuries at home. One of the greatest batters of his time, Sangakkara played a total of 75 test matches at home, where he hit 22 centuries and amassed 6,830 runs to his name as well.

4. Former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting, who is one of the most successful captains of all time, was an even dominant batter in his time. Leading one of the most brilliant Australian sides of all time, Ponting was a fine part of the team, in the 92 tests that he played at home, Ponting hit 23 centuries at home and scored 7,578 runs to his name as well.

3. Former South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis was a jack of all trades, efficient with both the bat and the ball, Kallis was one the greatest players on the planet in his prime. He played a total of 88 test matches at home, where he hit 23 centuries and amassed 7035 runs to his name. He also has the 2nd joint most centuries at home in test cricket history.

2. Former swashbuckling Sri Lanka batter Mahela Jayawardene is also tied in second in the list of players with the most test centuries at home. In his prime, Jayawardene was one of the most integral players in Sri Lanka's squad across formats. He played a total of 81 test matches at home where he hit 23 centuries and scored 7,167 runs to his name as well.
