Popular singer Sonu Nigam graced India TV's mega conclave Vande Mataram on Saturday.
While talking to host Saurabh Sharma, Sonu Nigam offered his opinions on various issues going around in the country post Pulwama terror attack.
When asked about his views on ban on Pakistani artistes in India, he said, "Why did you call them at first place? Now you’re asking them to leave? Why are we changing our decisions like kids?"
"Why to belittle the nation over these petty issues? We, on a whole, need to mature a great deal," he added.

He also urged people to not to vote on the grounds of caste and religion.
He said, "Why don’t we vote on the basis of the politicians’ performance? We should talk about bringing harmony in the country, instead of drawing lines on the basis of caste, creed and religion. We need to condemn our mentality to divide the communities and make them fight against each other.”
Sonu Nigam also asked people to behave more responsibly on social media instead of becoming keyboard warriors.
