Vienna, Jul 16: Police in Austria's Burgenland have arrested 47-year-old man, who had set up a museum in his home with 56 human skulls and 55 bones, on display, mainly femur.
State broadcaster ORF said Tuesday, the bones were taken from the graves of parish church Maria vineyard.
The man was arrested when he offered three skulls and two thigh bones for sale at a flea market in Kemeten for sale.
The skulls and bones will be taken back to Maria vineyard, said Wolfgang Bach King of the National Police Directorate.
The man has been charged with "disturbing the peace of the dead". n skeletal remains in his home.
Police is investigating how the man accessed the tombs and stole the human skulls and bones.
