Badayun (UP),Apr 1: Three members of a family perished and five others were injured on Sunday in a blast inside a house where firecrackers were being made here.
The explosion took place in Kaboolpura mohalla, where Rais Aaatishbaaz used to make firecrackers inside his house. Three of those injured are critical and have been sent to Bareilly hospital, said Mayur Maheshwari, district collector.
The explosion was so strong that the roof of the house collapsed.
Fire brigade personnel doused the flames and rescued the people from the debris.
