Telangana: curfew lifted in Vizianagaram for 14 hours
New Delhi: Since normalcy has returned to Vizianagram town since last five to six days, authorities have lifted the curfew for 14 hours on Sunday.Authorities have decided to allow relaxation in curfew from 6am to
Police have taken over 500 pro-united Andhra agitators into custody for indulging in violence in Vizianagaram and surrounding areas.
District Superintendent of Police Kartikeya said though the curfew has been lifted for 14 hours today, section 144 of CrPc will continue to be in force during the relaxation period.
Police sources said everything was under control with police and paramilitary personnel, including members of the Rapid Action Force, continuing to patrol the trouble-hit city.
