Siddhivinayak Temple
One of the richest temples in Mumbai, Siddhivinayak Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
Built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on November 19, 1801, the Siddhivinayak Temple is made of gold and marble occupies a central position in the city.
While the temple comprises of small mandap hosting a shrine of Lord Ganesha, the doors to this chamber has images of the Ashtavinayak carved on it.
One of the main features of Siddhivinayak Temple is the idol of Lord Ganesha that has been carved out of a single black stone.
While a lot many devotees visit Siddhivinayak Temple every day, the temple is quite famous amongst the B-Town as well.
