Mumbai: An overhead wire broke out between Ghatkopar and Vikhroli on slow track on Tuesday morning following which the Railways administration stopped the services between Mulund and Kurla.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-bound locals were diverted to the fast track, an official said.
Fast locals are now running at a slow pace, the official added.
Railways officials engaged in the repair work said that it will take hours to restore the service.
