Patna: A baba (godman), who claims to be an astrologer and vaastu expert, has advised Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad to fill up a pond located inside his residence in Patna.
The pond is located towards the south of his building. It was dug up in 2005 during Chhath Pooja to help wife Rabri Devi to perform her ablutions during prayers.
The 20 feet by 50 feet pond is now being filled up with soil by labourers since the last two days.
Simultaneously, digging of a new pond is in progress in the northeast corner near Lalu's 'Gaushala' (cowshed) .
The baba reportedly told the RJD leader that the pond located at the south was the main cause of adversities befalling his career. Lalu lost power to Nitish Kumar in Bihar in 2005 ,and in 2013 he was convicted and sent to Ranchi jail in the fodder scam. Lalu lost his Lok Sabha membership after he was convicted.
Now with Lok Sabha elections staring in the face, Lalu Prasad is leaving no stone unturned to give Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar sleepless nights.
His first aim is to win as many Lok Sabha seats as possible to play a central role in national politics, and then take the Janata Dal (United) strongman head on in the next Bihar assembly elections.
