Garwah (Jharkhand), Mar 30: A Maoist cadre allegedly involved in the attack on Jharkhand's former speaker Inder Singh Namdhari was arrested yesterday, the police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagdish Prasad told newsmen that Phillip Soni alias Masinji was arrested from Gondgada village in Ranka police station of Garwah district.
Seven cases including the attack on Namdhari was pending against him, Prasad said.
Namdhari, a Member of Parliament, was attacked at Garu in Latehar district in 2011.
