Srinagar, Apr 13 : A major fire gutted army barracks at the high security Badami Bagh headquarters of the army's 15 Corps in Srinagar Saturday evening, army spokesperson said.
The spokesman told IANS that the fire broke out in one of the barracks inside the headquarters.
The fire soon spread to five barracks, but was later brought under control by the fire brigade.
" It appears to be an accidental fire, but the exact cause would be found out later", said an army spokesperson.
