New Delhi: Delhi University announced its fourth cut-off list last night, with most colleges closing admission to popular undergraduate programmes, but a few others reopening admission to some courses after withdrawals.

Admissions to popular courses such as Economics, English, B.Com (Honours), BSc (Honours) in Computer Science were closed in most colleges.

Hansraj (96.5- 97.25 per cent), Hindu (96.75-98.25) and Kamala Nehru (95.5-97.75) were among the nine colleges where B.A (Honours) in Economics is still being offered.

Eleven colleges, including Gargi, Ramjas and IP, announced cut-offs for B.Com (H) course, while English was still available at Hansraj, Hindu, Miranda House and five other colleges.

Seven colleges were still offering B.Sc (H) in Computer Science.

Acharya Narendra Dev, ARSD and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, the three off-campus colleges which had put the ceiling at 100 per cent for admission to the programme in the first cut-off list, also closed admissions to the popular course.

Surprisingly, Hansraj still has most of its courses open.  Only B.Com (H) and B Sc (H) in Physics and Zoology were closed for admissions.

Withdrawal of admission in some colleges, which had closed admission for the course in the third cut-off list, have resulted in the reopening of admissions in the colleges in the fourth list.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Daulat Ram, Deshbandhu, ARSD and Dyal Singh were among such colleges.  Students can take admission into colleges based on fourth cut-off list from tomorrow till July 12.
